Water conservation may not be something you think about much in East Petersburg, PA. Here in the northeast, we get ample rain. Sometimes it feels like too much.

However, the recent severe droughts in California have struck home for many that water security is a thing we must all concern ourselves with.

In fact, many areas across the globe are suffering from a shortage of clean drinking water. This is not only a humanitarian and environmental concern-- it can affect the bottom line of industry, too.

Likewise, industry's use of water can worsen, or mitigate, the effects of water shortage.

That's why at LCM Used Car Center, we were proud to see the CDP's recent water report naming two of our favorite auto manufacturers as A-List water stewards: Ford Motor Company, and Toyota Motor Corporation.

When buying a used vehicle, you are already saving a tremendous amount of resources compared with buying new. When you drive a used Toyota, or Ford, you can now also feel good knowing your vehicle was manufactured with water conservation in mind.
