Ice, sleet, and snow seem to be marking the winter of 2014. - Subaru Outback: This vehicle has seen its share of changes over the years. It began as an adept, all-out wagon and has since evolved into a spacious, comfortable crossover. Though the looks and dimensions have changed, one thing has remained constant with the Outback -- its ability to take on any type of terrain you throw at it. All-wheel drive gives you grip in any environment and the generous ground clearance makes this model great in snow, mud, or dirt.
- Subaru Forester: Although it features a little less interior room than the Outback, the Forester still offers plenty of space for your regular crew and all their stuff. Plus, the slighter architecture delivers great fuel economy. Of course, you've still got plenty of capability in this SUV, too.
- Subaru Legacy: You don't have to go the crossover route to get all-wheel drive in a reasonably priced vehicle; just check out the Legacy. It's a comfortable sedan that delivers power and capability in the an ultra-maneuverable package.
