Today, we'd like to pass along two winter driving tips in order to keep you safer on the road, whether you live in a winter wonderland or simply plan on visiting one in the near future.
First, and maybe most importantly, you should get you car winterized even before the snow starts falling. Winter is the worst time of the year for your car to break down, and all it takes is a quick trip to your mechanic to make sure your vehicle is in good shape. And if you ask us, doing so sounds like a much better alternative to spending hours in the freezing cold waiting for help on the side of the road.
Our second tip is to carry supplies with you in case anything still goes wrong after having your vehicle inspected. To be more precise, we recommend packing a blanket, hand warmers, and an prepaid cell phone (in addition to your current one). This is especially important because you never know when the battery in your phone might go. Having a backup is very important.
