LCM Used Car Center knows it, and so do you... Keep your cars windows clean is important. But there's more to it than simply breaking out the household cleaner and some paper towels. After all, you want to keep your car looking like new right? That's why our experts have some tips to relay to you in order to make sure your windows look nearly invisible the next time you decide to clean them.
First, ditch the household cleaner. They often contain dyes, ammonia, and other chemicals that are harmful to windows. They can fade tints and cause streaks. In other words, they'll simply do more harm than good.
While you're at it, leave those paper towels and old rags inside too. They can easily scratch tinted class, and often leave behind dirt and other debris that's already dirtying up your windows.
So what should you use? We recommend a lint- and scratch-free microfiber towel and some certified auto glass cleaner. The microfiber towel will collect crud and other residue without harming your class, while the auto glass cleaner will break it all up without contaminating your class with an abundance of chemicals. This combination has been proven effective, and many third party companies make specific cloths and cleaners. In fact, many sell them as a kit.
LCM Used Car Center, located at 5250 Main St in East Petersburg, hopes that these tips prove most useful in cleaning your car. Of course, if you're still in need of a set of wheels, then feel free to peruse our used car inventory, then contact us to arrange a test drive.
