Have your tires seen better days? LCM Used Car Center wants you to get the most out of your vehicle, so we're going to tell you everything you need to know about cleaning your tires.

Brake dust, a mixture of carbon and adhesive fibers, builds up on your wheels and tires. It looks terrible and can damage your wheels. The only solution is to clean your tires regularly. Start with a quality cleaner and soft bristle brush. Be sure to choose a cleaner that is safe to use with your type of wheels. Some chrome cleaners will damage painted wheels.

Spray the cleaner on your tires and start scrubbing. Clean one tire at a time, and don't forget to dry your wheels with a soft rag when you're finished. If you really want to make your wheels shine, use a wax or wheel coating. A silicone-free tire gel will give your tires a glossy look to complement your wheels.
